Inhibrx – a clinical stage biotech company developing cancer and rare disease therapeutics, recently announced encouraging preliminary results of their Phase-1 clinical trials of ozekibart (INBRX-109), their lead candidate for developing therapies to treat colorectal cancer. Molecular Assemblies – as the original pioneering leader in developing DNA synthesis technologies, the company recently announced its acquisition by San Diego-based company, Maravai Life Sciences. This acquisition will allow Maravai and TriLink BioTechnologies to incorporate the Molecular Assemblies’ synthesis platform and continue development of nucleic acid-based therapies. Resolute Science – a pre-clinical biotech company whose mission is to develop pan-cancer therapeutics to treat aggressive and hard-to-treat solid tumors, the company successfully closed their Seed round (amount undisclosed), which included funding from San Diego-based NuFund Venture Group.
