Carlsmed – which has developed a patented medical device that is combined with a personalized surgical plan for patients needing spine surgery, recently announced that the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) has granted Breakthrough Device designation for their aprevoR technology. This is the company’s second Breakthrough Device designation.
Inhibrx – a clinical stage biotech company developing cancer and rare disease therapeutics, recently announced that the company will retain its rights to INBRX-101 for commercialization outside of the U.S. and Canada. This came about when Chiesi Farmaceutici S.p.A. turned down the right to exercise its option. INBRX-101, which received Fast Track Designation by the FDA earlier this year, is their drug candidate to treat patients suffering from a specific type of emphysema.
MyoGene Bio – an early-stage biotech company developing gene editing therapies to treat muscle diseases, CEO and Co-Founder Courtney Young, was recently recognized as one of MIT Technology Review’s Under 35 Innovators for 2023. This annual award showcases promising young innovators who have the potential to make groundbreaking contributions which will impact the world. Congratulations Courtney!
Nascent Biotech – a clinical stage biopharma company which is developing monoclonal antibodies, recently announced that the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) has given them the green light to begin Phase-II clinical trials for brain cancer with their lead candidate, Pritumumab.
tab32 – founded in 2013, the company is a pioneer in developing a comprehensive cloud-based, HIPAA-compliant, technology management platform used by dental practitioners for their patients’ dental electronic health records (Dental EHR). They have received numerous accolades, most recently being featured on Google Healthcare as a Dental Market solutions provider.
Inc. Magazine recently released its annual Inc. 5000 List for 2023. Driven by data, each year this list provides a ranking of the fastest growing companies in the country. We congratulate the following Springboard companies which made the cut this year:
Avacen Medical – has developed a pain management medical device which is drug-free, FDA-cleared, non-invasive, and available over-the-counter. This marks the fourth year for the company to make the Inc. 5000 List.
Doctible – has developed a communication platform for patients to easily find and engage with a network of health providers. This marks the fourth year for the company to make the Inc. 5000 List.
MD Revolution – has developed a digital healthcare platform for patients to better manage their chronic health care and improve the patient and caregiver engagement. This marks the third year for the company to make the Inc 5000 List.
