Brainstorm Therapeutics – an early-stage biotech developing treatments for complex neurological disorders. The company recently secured funding from the CURE5 Foundation. Additionally, the company participated in the 2026 ACE Pitch Competition; they came in second and were awarded $50K. ACE (Accelerate California Entrepreneurship) grants are funded by the California Office of the Small Business Advocate (CalOSBA) and are non-dilutive funding to support and advance innovative early-stage companies. (Highlighted in Late Fall 2025)


 

Carlsmed – a leading medical device company which has developed the aprevo platform, an AI-enabled solution which combines patient-specific data to develop personalized spine surgery care for optimal outcomes. The company recently announced the launch of its FDA-approved platform in the U.S. marketplace for cervical fusion surgeries. They also celebrated several significant milestones, including performing the first bi-lateral posterior lumbar interbody fusion procedure and the first personalized cervical plating procedure, among others. Fabric8Labs – an innovator of a novel non-thermal process to 3D metal printing, the company recently successfully closed a $56.5M Series B-1 financing round. This funding round comes on the heels of a $50M round late last year, to scale up its production capabilities. (Highlighted in December 2025)


 

HAI Solutions – a medical device company developing innovative solutions to reduce contamination of IV devices in various hospital settings, the company recently received De Novo classification by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its QIKCAP System. This is a major milestone as this is the only device using ultraviolet light (UVC) to reduce microbial contamination that has been granted by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to date. As a result, QIKCAP creates a new Class II medical device category and elevates HAI Solutions as a pioneer in developing UVC technologies to eliminate microbes. (Highlighted in February 2025)


 

Origami Therapeutics – a pre-clinical stage company developing novel therapeutics to treat neurodegenerative diseases such as Huntington’s Disease, the company recently announced a strategic partnership with France-based biotechnology giant Ipsen. This global collaboration aims to create a program to treat a rare and inherited neurodegenerative disease. (Highlighted in Fall 2024)


 

Tag-N-Trac – a pioneer in developing smart IoT tracking software for shipping and logistics. In partnership with Identiv, a global RFID leader, the two companies were recently recognized with the 2025 IoT Platforms Leadership Award from IoT Evolution World. IoT Evolution World is the preeminent online publication on all things related to IoT technologies. The company had announced a strategic partnership with Identiv last year, to jointly develop specialized IoT solutions. This award is in recognition of their innovative cold chain tracking solution. (Highlighted in July 2025)
