Brain Corp – a leader in autonomous robotics using AI-enabled technology, the company recently announced an exclusive agreement with JRTech Solutions, Canada’s largest distributor of Electronic Shelf Labels (ESL). This partnership will expand Brain Corp’s footprint by bringing their autonomous inventory management platform to retailers across Canada. (Highlighted in March 2024)
Cortechs.ai – a leader in developing AI-powered brain image analysis solutions for several neurological disorders, the company recently closed an oversubscribed Series C funding round (amount undisclosed). This funding will be used to expand the company’s product line and further scale its commercialization. (Highlighted in Fall 2024)
ecoATM – a global leader in developing automated kiosks to easily recycle and buy-back mobile phones and other electronic devices, the company recently announced a partnership with several large grocery and retail chains in the Northeast, which will expand the ecoATM kiosks to over 6,600 locations.
MyoGene Bio – an early-stage biotech company developing gene editing therapies to treat muscle diseases, the company was recently awarded a $1.5M grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to pursue pre-clinical studies. The company also recently received both an orphan drug designation and a rare pediatric disease designation by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for MyoDys45-55, their experimental treatment for Duchenne muscular dystrophy. In addition, CEO and Co-Founder Courtney Young was one of four U.S. startups selected to participate in the Global Entrepreneurship World Cup. Competing against 100+ startups from around the world, MyoGene Bio emerged as the 4th place winner in the Early-stage category and was awarded a $45K prize. (Highlighted in August 2024)
NanoCellect Biomedical – a leader in cell analysis and sorting solutions using microfluidics, they recently announced strategic partnerships with three distributors in the Asia-Pacific region, thereby expanding their presence in these markets. The partnerships were with IMH Bio, DKSH, and Trend Bio.
Shadowbox – an innovator in developing a cloud-based workflow automation platform for healthcare providers, the company recently received an additional $2M in funding from Baleon Capital. This additional funding brings Baleon’s total investment in the company to $8M.
