Brian Kirkpatrick is a director in Bridge Bank's Life Sciences Group. He oversees portfolio management and underwriting teams for the western half of the U.S., as well as business development activities in the Southwest. The Life Sciences Group focuses on providing full-service banking capabilities and debt financing options for U.S.-based life sciences companies. Industries covered by this group include biotech, medical device, medical diagnostics, digital health, health care services, and tools and service companies that support those industries.
Brian has been with Bridge Bank and its Life Sciences Group since 2019. Prior to joining Bridge Bank, he spent nine years at Square 1 Bank, through its IPO and its merger with Pacific Western Bank. During his tenure, he held various roles, including five years leading the Northern California life science portfolio management and underwriting function. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a focus on Finance and Entrepreneurship, from the University of Arizona.
