Amy Duncan is an entrepreneur, advisor, and investor with over 30 years of experience in the life science/biotech industry. As Director of The Brink SBDC, she leads a team of expert advisors helping founders community-wide start innovative companies. Her diverse career spans bench research at Scripps, product management at Thermo Scientific, joining a stem cell technology startup, and founding Goldfish Consulting, where she has advised numerous startups on achieving product-market fit. A passionate advocate for the San Diego startup ecosystem, Amy actively contributes as Fund Manager of San Diego Angel Conference (SDAC) Fund III, Chair of the San Diego Entrepreneurs Exchange (SDEE) Communications Committee, and a member of both NuFund Venture Group and the Angel Capital Association (ACA).  She holds a BS in Biochemistry from UC Davis and an MBA from San Diego State University.
