Alan has been building internet-based businesses in San Diego for nearly 30 years.   His first company, founded in the tech hub of Pacific Beach, was an agency that developed the initial wave of interactive websites for customers like Target, Costco and the San Diego Sports Arena.  In his next role, Alan joined Active Network (IPO in 2011) where he ran the Consumer business (Active.com), and subsequently, launched the Developing Markets division.  From there he moved into the COO role at TakeLessons (acquired by Microsoft), where he was responsible for growth and business operations.  Alan is currently the CEO of GOVX, the largest online platform for premium brands, entertainers and teams to connect with those who serve.    Alan received his BS in Engineering from Santa Clara University and his MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
