Tess Sangster is a Carlsbad native and economic development leader currently serving as the City of Carlsbad’s Economic Development Director. With over a decade of experience in the City of San Marcos, she has led business attraction, retention, marketing, and revitalization efforts that support local growth. A graduate of Claremont McKenna College and former executive director of the Cardiff 101 Main Street Association, Sangster is known for her strategic, community-focused approach and her commitment to serving businesses.
