It’s 2024, Happy New Year and welcome back to the Springboard Corner!
Despite 2023 being a somewhat challenging and mixed year, Springboard companies nonetheless received funding, achieved critical milestones, and continued to grow and scale their companies. Here are some of those achievements this past year.
Over 11 companies secured new partnerships or agreements which resulted in e.g., more patients having access to innovative healthcare tests and services; increased number of insurance payer plans agreeing to cover novel diagnostics for their members; and launching of the country’s first commercially available quantum network, among others.
Medical device company, Carlsmed, has received Breakthrough Device recognition by the FDA for their aprevo® technology
Clinical-stage biotech company, Inhibrx, was granted Fast Track Designation by the FDA for its drug candidate, INBRX-101
Recognized as one of the highest-rated software solutions as part of the “Best badge” program from the Gartner network
CEO and Co-Founder, Melanie Lang, was honored with the 2023 Entrepreneur Award by the Society of Women Engineers
Recognized with the 2023 BioServices Innovation of the Year award from BioTech Breakthrough Awards Program
CEO and Co-Founder, Courtney Young, was recognized as one of Biocom’s 2023 Life Science Catalyst Awardees
Honored with the 2023 Mexico Technology Award
Recognized as a 2024 Silver Military Friendly® Employer
