Greetings and thank you for joining us at the Springboard Corner as we kick-off 2026! Getting started, we want to share with you some highlights from 2025.
Chilldyne – founded in 2012, has developed unique liquid-cooling technology for data centers. They were acquired by Minneapolis-based Daikin Industries, a global company which has advanced innovative cooling technologies.
MD Revolution – founded in 2011, is a pioneer in developing online healthcare platforms for remote patient care management, the company was acquired by New York-based CoachCare, a leading remote care platform. By joining forces, the combined company sets the stage for becoming the largest remote management solution in the nation.
Molecular Assemblies – founded in 2009 as the original pioneering leader in developing DNA synthesis technologies, the company was recently acquired by San Diego-based company, Maravai Life Sciences. This acquisition will incorporate the Molecular Assemblies’ synthesis platform and continue development of nucleic acid-based therapies.
In 2025, over 14 companies successfully secured new strategic partnerships or agreements. These partnerships resulted in e.g., launching their product in Canada (ecoATM), expanding their product and platform capabilities to reach new patients (Welby Health, Cortechs AI, HAI Solutions, Cooler Heads, UGenomeAI), and broadening their commercial footprint (Enroll & Pay, Tag-N-Trac, Fabric8Labs, Brain Corp), among others.
Biolinq – a company developing precision and minimally invasive biowearables to monitor and improve metabolic health. They received De Novo classification by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for their lead product, Biolinq Shine™
Resolute Science – a biotech company developing pan-cancer therapeutics to treat aggressive and hard-to-treat solid tumors, was granted Orphan Drug Designation by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its lead candidate, RS-5, designed for treatment of soft tissue sarcomas.
Cortechs.ai – a medical device company developing AI-powered image analysis solutions, received approval from Health Canada to sell its suite of imaging solutions in Canada.
Brainstorm Therapeutics – was the winner of California Life Sciences’ (CLS) 22nd Annual Pantheon Award in the AI Catalyst for Healthcare category. Additionally, CSO and Co-Founder Maya Gosztyla, was recognized as one of the recipients of the 2025 Life Science Catalyst Awards by Biocom.
Fuse Integration – was recognized with the highest honor – Platinum level – with the 2025 Technology Innovators Award by Military + Aerospace Electronics for their Tactical Edge Network solution.
Intraratio – was recognized with the 2025 NPI Award in the Software-Management category for its AI-driven MES and IoT platform.
Cortechs.ai – acquired San Diego-based Zepmed, which complements Cortech’s core capabilities and will help amplify their position in the marketplace.
Events.com – acquired several companies, including the Temecula Valley Balloon and Wine Festival, the La Jolla Concours d’Elegance, the San Diego Waterfront Music & Arts Festival, and California-based Remo. These strategic acquisitions will bolster the company’s offerings as they continue their expansion and position the company as an all-in-one platform for both live and virtual programming.
Yatiri Bio – acquired San Diego-based NGeneBioAI, an AI-driven proteomics research platform developer specializing in plasma proteomics, which will support Yatiri Bio as it expands its diagnostic capabilities.
