We caught up with Cahit Jay Akin, CEO of Mushroom Networks, to discuss prestige, PR, and MIP.

Why did you apply to MIP?

We love MIP’s impact and prestige in terms of visibility, both locally as well as nationally. The annual MIP award dinner is also the Oscar’s of the San Diego tech industry, so it is always an honor to be represented in that event.

What was your favorite part about the MIP event?

My favorite part was definitely the award ceremony. It is an opportunity to share some excitement, fun and good food with my team.

What is one accomplishment/success you have had since you received the award?

Winning the MIP award gave us visibility and helped springboard our new product VOIP Armor. You can’t buy this type of PR!

Thanks to Mushroom Networks and congratulations on your new product!Â
