July Springboard Graduate: Bixpy

Aug 3, 2016

Congratulations to Bixpy – our July Springboard Graduate!

We’d like the celebrate our most recent Springboard graduate, Bixpy, the creators of a portable water propulsion system for snorkelers, divers, kayakers and standup paddle boarders. They have launched this unique product for recreational use and with further development, will pursue commercial and industrial audiences. The Springboard program they completed is a free mentoring program for innovators and entrepreneurs in the science and technology arena. The objective of the program is to help entrepreneurs develop a compelling commercialization strategy and prepare for future funding and growth.

The culmination of the program is an invitation for the entrepreneur to make a presentation of their business model to a select group of experts. The goal of the panel presentation is to provide the entrepreneur with candid recommendations for the refinement of their business plan and identify next steps to achieve the company’s goal.

Bixpy CEO, Houman Nikmanesh, presented at their final Springboard panel on Tuesday, July 19th in San Diego, CA. Throughout their time in the Springboard program, Bixpy was mentored by Michael Sick, Eugene Hirschkoff, Robert Crick, Michele Nash-Hoff, and Mark Stephens.
