Connect X MedTech Color

Connect aims to enhance tech and life science companies with quality capital and advisors.
We’re a community nonprofit passionate about helping entrepreneurs build great companies.
We saw the opportunity to support MedTech Color by helping to facilitate a workshop in their pre-competition accelerator.

Connect will choose one (1) company from the MedTech Color 2022 Pitch Competition’s Top 10 applicants:
We’ll provide them with expert advisor meetings from Connect’s network of expertise
and a customized process to scale their startup and connect with capital.

For MedTech Color 2022 Pitch Competition – Connect is teaming up with MedTech Color, NIH SEED, ResMed,
Olympus Corporation of the Americas, California Health Care Foundation, and other industry leading sponsors
to accelerate the growth of Black and Brown led MedTech startups through capital and curated mentorship.

On March 8th, 2022 the 2nd Annual MedTech Color Pitch Competition takes place.
MedTech Color has searched for the next generation of fearless founders innovating and diversifying MedTech.
African American founders are the fastest growing demographic of entrepreneurs out of any throughout history.
These founders are best equipped to solve some of the world’s largest unmet needs.
However, Black and LatinX entrepreneurs are met with the greatest barriers to accessing capital.

The competition focuses on cutting-edge startups led by Black & Brown founders.
Having a part in the competition allows them to take the stage for a virtual competition,
showcase their products or services that will directly benefit patients, and tell their stories.

The competition, which is in its second year, received 75 submissions from Black and Brown MedTech innovators.
The finalists will be awarded $100,000 – $250,000 in non-dilutive funding and in-kind services.

Register today to attend in person or virtually!
