High School Internship Program

Please note that there will not be a summer internship program by CONNECT in 2014. Students are encouraged to apply to the Connect2Careers program offered through the San Diego Workforce Partnership.

“It helped me achieve my original goals, experiencing the work environment. It also had additional bonuses like mock interviews, public speaking, assignments and the chance to create my own code based items and learn new coding languages.”
-High School Summer Intern (2013)

The CONNECT internship program provides opportunities to inspire high school students to work in the field of computer science and programming. Interns are matched with a host company for a 6 week long internship held during the summer.

Thank you to our AMAZING Host Companies:

  • BUMP Network
  • eFinancial Communications
  • LiquidGrids
  • Sitrova Innovations, Inc.
  • Touch This Media

“I felt like I was given a lot of good responsibility and independence to learn the different languages and skills necessary to do my project, and I felt like I was making a good contribution to my company because I was able to write code used for actual production.”
-High School Summer Intern

This program is funded thanks to the generous support from the Parker Foundation, Qualcomm Foundation, San Diego Gas & Electric, the Arthur Brody Foundation, Wells Fargo and the County of San Diego.
