CONNECT managed CCAT provides a broad range of unique services to technology innovators and developers. The Center's goal is to move these technologies through the developmental milestones necessary for success. Whether success is defined by the receiving of a government contract, the finalization of a business plan, or achieving a certain profit level, CCAT aids the technology for as long as necessary.

HOW PROGRAM WORKS
CCAT's goal is to effectively "fast-track" the commercialization of advances in technology from academia, industry, government, and individual entrepreneurs, to both the commercial and DoD marketplace. CCAT is looking for technologies in the following focus areas:
Homeland Security and Crisis/Consequence Management:
- Border security
- Port security
- First Responder needs
- Critical infrastructure protection
- Bio-terrorism defense
- Information network security
- Transportation security
Critical DoD technology solutions:
- Commercial technologies
- Spin-in strategies
- Creation of Commercial / Dual use products from existing DoD technologies
- Transition to commercial market place
- Spin-out strategies
