CONNECT would like to extend a huge “thank you” to Hydrogen Power Systems and Skqueak for participating in the San Diego High Tech Fair on February 13 at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. The High Tech Fair is an opportunity for local companies representing different areas in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) to provide hands-on interactive demonstrations of the STEM concepts that students are learning about in school. These real-world examples provide students with important insight into the possibilities of a career in STEM. Through their volunteer efforts, countless students were introduced to the possibility of STEM careers.

Are you interested in directly encouraging San Diego’s youth to pursue coursework, degrees and careers in the sciences and technology sectors? CONNECT’s Entrepreneurs for Young Innovators program would like to provide you with the opportunity to do just that. Contact Nia Gipson at ngipson@connect.org for more information.
