Destination San Diego

A San Diego based program for life science and technology companies that assists out of region companies with mentoring and industry connections by providing access to CONNECT’s world renowned Springboard program that has been in operation for over twenty years and assisted thousands of startups. CONNECT’s Destination San Diego program provides assistance services to global companies intending to expand into the US market via the Gateway San Diego. The three components of Destination San Diego include:

LaunchPad San Diego: A gateway to the U.S. and California marketplace: this intensive, one week “boot camp” with fast-track immersion into the collaborative culture of San Diego includes commercial, legal and technology reviews as well as introductions to potential strategic partners, best-in-class service providers, trade associations and potential investors in preparation for entering the U.S. or California marketplace.

Rapid Assessment Program (RAP) : An efficient assessment of the company’s readiness level for coaching to accelerate commercialization and expansion to the U.S. The assessment leverages CONNECT’s CEO-level business advisors who have experience scaling companies from inception to growth.

Global Bridge – creating the plan to support expansion: A combination of expert remote and onsite mentoring helps companies create the business plan to support expansion to the U.S. or California market. The process culminates in a panel of industry experts, investors and expert advisors providing feedback and industry contacts.

Milestone Payments:

Rapid Assessment Program: $ 1,500, due upon completion of the Business Advisor panel assessment.
Global Bridge: $ 6,000, due upon completion of the Finance Panel.
LaunchPad San Diego: $ 2,500, due upon completion of the Dry-run panel.
